Welcome to Lakeview!

We are so excited you’re here, and we can’t wait to have you as part of our Band Family!

This page is your one-stop shop for all of your registration information. Our organization is large and made up of different sections with different needs and schedules, but we all form the Lakeview Centennial Patriot Band.

New Members

All new members of the program will attend Band Registration Day (more info below) in addition to the following group-specific camps:

    • This is for anyone who has not previously been part of the battery and is auditioning for the drumline. If you are only auditioning for Front Ensemble, you do not need to attend.

    Marching Percussion Auditions

  • New Winds Member Camps

    MUSIC CAMPS

    • Thursday, April 22nd and April 29th 4:45-7:00pm

    • Bring your binder, instrument, pencil, and a great attitude!

    MOVEMENT CAMPS

    • Thursday, May 6th and May 13th 4:45-7:00pm

    • LCHS Band Field

    • Wear athletic clothing and athletic shoes, and be prepared to go outside with water, sunscreen, sunglasses, etc.

    • No instruments needed - just you!

    All students should plan on attending registration after auditions are complete. A parent must attend with each student. We will purchase required gear and sign papers.

    Color Guard members do not attend Registration and Audition Day on May 15th.

LCHS Practice Field

Wear athletic clothing and athletic shoes. No jeans or hoodies. Be prepared to go outside with water, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat!

Bring your water bottle, instrument, binder, and a pencil

Be ready to step out of your comfort zone!

Registration Day

Saturday, May 15

All members of the program are required to attend our Registration Day at the LCHS Band Hall on Saturday, May 15 with a parent or legal guardian. Please plan on having a form of payment with you!

  • Seniors: 9 am

  • Juniors: 10 am

  • Sophomores (last names A-L): 12 pm

  • Sophomores (last names M-Z): 1 pm

  • Freshmen (last names A-L): 2 pm

  • Freshmen (last names M-Z): 3 pm

  • Colorguard: Will register after auditions. Date to be announced later!

At this event, you will:

  • Meet your band directors and Band Boosters

  • Complete required forms

  • Get a physical

  • Order required gear

  • Sign up for the BAND App

  • Woodwinds and Brass: Audition for concert band/class placement. More info to come later!

Order your gear at Registration Day!

Everyone in the program needs certain equipment to participate in marching band. Most of these items only need to be purchased once and can be used for a student’s entire time in the program. In addition, all students need to purchase quality athletic shoes for their physical health and safety in marching band. A list of recommended shoes is in the Student Handbook, which is in the Resources tab.

The items below are required for all members. Returning Members will need to purchase any individual items they may need to replace. New Members will order their required gear in a Starter Kit that includes all of the required items below. We are still locking in our pricing for this coming year, but Starter Kits will be around $220 for Winds and Percussion members and roughly $700 for Color Guard members. We have payment plans available! We will never prohibit a student from being in band due to their financial situation.

    Per UIL rules, students must now provide a sports physical and medical history in order to participate in marching band activities. Every member of the program will need to have a physical exam completed and turn in a physical form with medical history to the band staff before they will be allowed to participate in marching band/color guard activities in July.

    Students will have an opportunity to get their physical done at LCHS on Registration Day. Physicals will be $25.
