Lakeview Centennial High School Patriot Band

A COUPLE OF CALENDAR CHANGES TO TELL YOU ABOUT:

The panoramic picture is this Tuesday, Sept. 14 at 6:45 a.m. Students should be at school in full uniform (minus hat/gloves) by 6:45 a.m. so we can take the picture in a timely manner.

Rehearsal time and location for October 5 has changed:

7:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. @HBJ Stadium

This rehearsal will be with a paid clinician, so it is imperative that everyone is in attendance (on time). The rehearsal time and location are the only 2 things that changed. The rehearsal has always been scheduled for that day.

The date for the Spaghetti Dinner/Concert has changed:

New Date: March 3rd, Time TBA

Please make this change on your calendar.

Schedule for the week, 9/6

Monday, 9/6: Labor Day Parade. Be at DART station at 8:00 a.m. Step off @ 9:00 a.m. Student pick up at Central Park.

Tuesday, 9/7: Rehearsal, LC Band Field, 3:30-5:15

Wednesday, 9/8: Rehearsal, LC Band Field, 3:10-5:15, Drill Team rehearsal.

Thursday, 9/9:

Run Through, LC Band Field, 3:15-4:15

Eat/Load, Cafeteria, 4:15-5:00 (Loading Crew Eats First)

Inspection (in uniform), Band Hall, 5:00; Uniform for the week is: Band Shirt (untucked), Band Shorts (blue with yellow “LC”), White Socks (above the ankle), and White Tennis Shoes. Be sure to have your lyre, flip folder, poncho, and all your music for inspection. Color Guard should wear Color Guard shirt and band shorts, with white socks and tennis shoes. You will need all equipment for the opener.

Load Buses, 5:15

Depart for HBJ Stadium, 5:20

Arrive, unload, warm up, 5:45

March In, 6:15

Return to LCHS, 10:30

Friday, 9/10: Rehearsal, LC Band Field, 3:30-5:15
